Reviews for Number One Turf

Highly recommend Number One Turf LLC! They hauled away all the extra dirt and gravel we had before and leveled the ground seamlessly. The turf looks incredible, feels great underfoot, and created the perfect clean, safe play area right next to the pool. Fantastic work!"

Octavian and the team were great!! They completed my yard in about a day. Octavian listened to my concerns about drainage and addressed them accordingly before starting.

Fantastic product and service

We had such an incredible experience with Number One Turf. They were professional, timely, communicative and great to work with. They finished our turf installation at our town home within a day, and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. We’re very pleased with the work.

This business was very easy to work with and we got everything we wanted and in a timely matter. I would highly recommend!

I looked at several companies and went with Octavian at Number One Turf. Great price was a plus but I was very happy with the quality and the time it took to complete job. Kevin and his crew also did such a good job with cleanup after you couldn’t tell I had a big pile of crushed granite in my front yard at one point.

If you want any turf done, this is the company to do it!

Octavia and Kevins team were amazing. We are so happy with our backyard. The quality is great and they worked so hard. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommend. Company is professional and punctual. Excellent quality of work at a great value. Love our turf.

This company did just an amazing job putting turf in my backyard. Exceeded my expectations. Timely, fair price. There was one mistake and they corrected it immediately. I can't recommend this company enough.

Best turf services in the area FOR SUREE!! Highly recommend it

Octavian is the man. Great communication and excellent execution on a putting green and bocce ball court install.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!
We hired Number One Turf in 2021 to install turf in our backyard, and they did an absolutely phenomenal job. Following that, we hired them again to install large pavers for our garbage cans, which still look fantastic years later. Their pricing was the best we found, and the entire process was professional from beginning to end.
Over the years, we've hired many contractors for different projects, and I can honestly say that Octavian, the owner, is one of the best people we've ever worked with. He is incredibly trustworthy, responsive, and truly takes pride in his work. What impresses me most is that even for our annual turf maintenance and cleaning, Octavian personally comes out and does the work himself.
Recently, we had a terrible experience with another landscaping company that damaged our turf. The first person I called was Octavian. He was at our house within 24 hours to assess the situation and help us figure out the best path forward. That level of customer service is rare these days.
It's easy to see why Number One Turf has such a great reputation. The quality of their work, attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to their customers are second to none. I cannot recommend Octavian and Number One Turf highly enough!

They did a relatively small job for me but they did it very well. They were timely, clearly knew their job requirements, and cleaned up very well. More importantly, I discovered that the installation had disconnected one of my yard lights. They came back to help me remedy the issue. Installation team was very nice.

Octavian was great to work with and the finished product looks amazing! Would highly recommend Number One Turf.

Couldn’t be happier with our how turf turned out. Octavian and his team did an incredible job.

Octavian and his team did a great job turfing our front yard last year and we decided to go ahead and get the backyard done this year. Both times they were excellent in terms of communication, clarity and efficiency. Would recommend them to anyone looking to install artificial grass.

Number One Turf LLC is my number 1 choice for artificial turf. The owner, Octavian, was easy to work with, and his price quotes are very competitive. Octavian came out to our home 3 times, as we updated our design. Number One does more than artificial turf.
The Number One Turf crew of 4 arrived on time, were polite, took pride in their work, and gave us an outstanding front yard in one day.
We were so impressed, with the work that we’re having Octavian come back to quote us on fixing or replacing the inadequate job a previous company did in our back yard.
In short, if you’re looking for a high quality artificial turf, and a truly reliable company, Number One Turf LLC is who you want.

Octavian and his crew are top notch professionals with the turfing. It was time for change and I was tired of cutting the grass. Communication is clear and precise, excellent pricing, and the work was perfect. I highly recommend Number One Turf.

Best in Houston! We priced several companies inside the loop, and so glad we chose Octavian and his crew! They went above and beyond to fix the drainage issues we had from the previous owner’s terrible DIY project. Octavian thoroughly explained the process and made sure we were always happy with the progress along the way. The end result is a phenomenal job (partial yard before and afters pictured). We cannot be happier with our beautiful backyard!

Great work and super responsive!

Amazing job and such friendly staff! They did a great job on my backyard and turned my vision into a reality. Thanks again!

Number one turf is the best in the business Octavio and his crew are top notch . Trust me I work in the construction industry and it is hard to find reliable contractors that 1. Do what they say there going to do. 2. And will not charge extra here and there for every obstacle they run in too along the way . Octavio and team surpassed all my expectations and at a respectable/fair price . I highly recommend number one turf . They have turned my outdoor area in to a great place to make memories. Thank you !

Our experience has been amazing from start to finish. Octavian helped us meet all of our HOA requirements for turf install and was very patient with us throughout the approval process. The finished product was flawless and the crew left it as clean (or cleaner) than when they started. Dogs already very happy with the upgrade
10/10 will use again in the future

I highly recommend Number One Turf. Their quote was far lower than the other bids I received and process was easy, fast and I'm thrilled with the result (and so are my two big dogs). Can't recommend highly enough!

Octavian and the crew were amazing through the whole process. They were professional, clean, and had great communication. They transformed our outdoor space and I could not be more pleased with the results! They deserve more than 5 stars to be honest!!

From start to finish, they were punctual, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure the job was done right.
The team was always on time, and they made sure to deliver high quality work that exceeded our expectations. What really stood out to me was how they finished the project ahead of schedule, without compromising on the quality of their work.
If you’re looking for a reliable, efficient, and skilled team to take care of your turf and landscaping needs, I highly recommend Number One Turf. They truly live up to their name!

Octavian and his crew did a fantastic job. The turf and putting green looks incredible. The crew is the best working crew I have ever witnessed. Incredible attention to detail and they truly care and take pride in their work. Cleaned up daily after themselves and were very professional. Highly recommend for your backyard transformation.

I would highly recommend number one turf. Octavian is great to work with. Very professional and ensures everything is done properly. We had a few hiccups, but he definitely went the extra mile to repair mistakes. Overall, very satisfied!

What an experience! The entire team at Number One Turf was amazing. Their creative design and impeccable installation work was second to none. It totally exceeded my expectations.
